The recent changes to #12 have allowed us to take a difficult par 4, and turn it into a very nice eye appealing golf hole. The changes that were completed on this hole were amazing. We filled in the creek that sat 80 yards just shy of the green. This creek was reachable, with the old layout, forcing golfers to lay up. Now the long hitters have no worries about hitting their tee shots into a watery grave.
We then took and shifted the fairway to the right. This makes for an easier approach shot into a narrow green. This difficult hole now allows for a wider landing spot off the tee box.
#15 – 385 yards – Par 4
#16 – 195 yards Par 3
Our signature hole at Willow Run just got a whole lot better. The redesign on this hole was jaw dropping. We were able to build a pond to the left and slightly in front of the green. We then built four new tee boxes, to the left of the original boxes.
By doing this, the tee shot now brings the new pond into play a great deal more. #16 is a tightly guarded green, with the addition of the pond and the existing bunkers.
The changes to this hole has added to the level of difficulty of the 195 yard, par 3.
