The mission of WRMGA is to create a fun golfing environment for all members by facilitating competitive golfing events that proved all players with an opportunity to win prizes and socialize with other members.
On Men’s day, Thursdays, WRMGA members play either a 9 or 18 hole golf event. Players may play 18 holes or 9 holes anytime after 8:00 am. Players are responsible for scheduling their own tee times. There are three contest each week that make up the weekly competition; the game, hole-in-one and skins. All gross and net events will be flighted.
All events will be flighted according to USGA GHIN handicap. Our goal is to have as many winners as possible. It does not matter if you are an established player or have been playing for only a few years, you will still have an equal opportunity to win prizes.
WRMGA members will pay $15.00 every time they play. 100% of the entry fee will be paid in the form of tournament prizes and skins. The hole-in-one money is pooled and any hole-in-one will win the pot with a max of $500.00 paid out. Each event will feature an exciting format and an opportunity for players to win.
Yearly dues of $70.00 include the following:
- 2020 USGA Handicap
- Opening night hors d’oeuvres (CANCELLED DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK)
- Year-end steak fry
- Eligibility to compete in the Willow Run Club Championship
